When we say “You’re not just another butt in a boat”, we really mean it. We’re not just another run-of-the-mill, impersonal online business. At we treat our customers like we would want to be treated. As we transition to an ‘information’ web site, we intend to continue that level of service!

When we were selling products directly to customers, many of them shared their opinions about our store. Here are a just a few of the many customer comments we’ve received since we started our online store in 2006. We are very proud of these testimonials and our solid reputation for hands-on customer service.

Standing Behind Our Products: We had purchased a high powered pump to fill our two sea eagle inflatable stand up paddle boards back in May from The pump broke on a Friday night about 2 months later while inflating the boards. I wrote to the company site approx. 6 PM on a Saturday night and within hours had gotten a response from Dennis that he was on it and will talk with the representative first thing Monday. Through further e-mails, Dennis arranged the new pump to be sent and the broken one to be picked up at no expense to us. Fast Track Kayak With A Sailboat: My kayak arrived yesterday and I took it to the harbor immediately. I was amazed at how quickly we had it set up and in the water. It performed amazingly well in the harbor and in the open ocean. We had it out all day today and were the envy of everyone on the dock. The Sea Eagle 465 Fast Track: We are just back from a road trip thru Arkansas in our small RV. We had purchased the 465 Fast Track specifically to allow us to bring a boat along. Well, we finally got it wet on Quachita Lake. It is a great boat and we were both very pleased. We paddled about an hour in a light chop and 10 kt. winds. The boat is extremely stable and easily moved. Set up and tear down were a breeze. (Peter & Kathy B. – Ohio)

I wrote out this question to four other companies that sell this boat and you were the first to respond, in fact after two days of waiting from these other companies to respond to a simple question, you were the only one to at least write back and respond. Cannon Paddles: Thanks again from a very happy customer. I just posted the following to my internet forum: Thanks to everyone for their suggestion and advice. I ended up ordering Cannon paddles from Dennis at Portable Kayaks. The customer service from both companies was over the top in my book. When I contacted Dennis at Portable Kayaks he listens and made suggestion based on my needs and never tried to oversell me. I ended up with Cannon four piece paddles to make the fit in my wife’s Highlander easier. I ordered Canon Escape paddles in 220cm and a 230cm size. I choose the Escape as an entry level paddle with nice features at a fair price. My paddles arrived in just a few days well package but no foam grips, a featured buying point for me due to the high AZ temperatures. I contacted Dennis at Portable Kayaks about my finding. After contacting Cannon he replied that Cannon had changed the design and had not notified him of the change but not to worry Cannon did locate some remaining foam grips at the plant and will be sending them out for both paddles. Cannon and Dennis replied with an email, tracking number and installation instruction for the foam grips. Cannon also included a phone number to assist me if I had any more question on installation. All my communication was friendly and all phone calls and emails were promptly handled. It was refreshing to see that customer service is alive and still available even on a basic entry level order. I had a great experience with both companies and enjoyed giving them my business. With hesitation I would recommend Dennis at Portable Kayaks for all your kayaking needs. (Phil I. – Arizona)

Happy With Her Sea Eagle 330: I purchased a Sea Eagle 330 from you in March and I just want to let you know that I got out on the water for the first time here in NY this season. I love the Sea Eagle!!!!!
