Shipping Details
All in-stock orders will be shipped within two business days of the order date (excluding holidays & weekends). In cases where orders are drop shipped from the manufacturers or distributors warehouse, there may be delays depending on factors beyond our control, such as high volume, seasonal delays or shutdowns for inventory updates. Orders are guaranteed, in most cases, to be delivered within 15 business days to zip codes within the continental United States. If you request to receive your order in less than 15 business days, you may be charged extra for accelerated shipping. Most orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express (FedEx) or USPS, although some distribution centers may choose to ship products by other shippers. Delivery to carrier constitutes delivery to customer. Shipping charges are not refundable unless the carrier has failed to meet the delivery commitment outlined in their shipping guide. PortableKayaks.com will only refund shipping charges when the carrier has failed to meet the delivery commitment and has issued credit to PortableKayaks.com. The decision made by a carrier regarding a claim for refund is final. Customer must be sure to communicate correct shipping address to PortableKayaks.com. All shippers charge a $10.00 fee if an incorrect address has been provided. These fees will be transferred to the customer, only if the customer provided the incorrect ship-to address. Shipping Company will NOT accept special shipping instructions from Dealer, other than "Ship To" Name and Address. Exchanges through the mail are also subject to this shipping fee. If we are shipping your order out of state, it is not subject to sales tax (Indiana – 7.00%). We reserve the right to cancel an order at our discretion if an item is priced incorrectly.

Shortages and Shipping Damage
It is the responsibility of the Customer to check all packages for accuracy of contents within 48 hours of receipt. No items shall be invoiced unless shipped. If any shortages occur, it is the responsibility of the Customer to contact PortableKayaks.com with 48 hours of receipt of package to file a claim for missing goods. In the case of shipping damage, the Customer will file a claim with the shipper. In the event of any questions or problems with your order, or if the product received was defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Service Department. RETAIL POLICIES:
Payment Terms
The terms of payment are within PortableKayaks.com's sole discretion. Payment must be received prior to PortableKayaks.com's acceptance of an order, unless otherwise agreed to by PortableKayaks.com. Payment for the products and services and support may be made by credit card, wire transfer, or some other prearranged payment method unless PortableKayaks.com has agreed to credit terms. PortableKayaks.com accepts the following Credit Cards: MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express. You may also choose Google Checkout or PayPal as a payment method. (NOTE: A PayPal invoice (via e-mail) is the only method of direct payment we will accept for international orders. Payment arrangements can also be made for an international order through Bongo International's Personal Shopper program.) Prices are subject to change without notice. Stock is subject to prior sale. Orders paid for by bank wire will be subject to a $250 order minimum, or a $25 service charge. PortableKayaks.com may invoice parts of an order separately. Orders are not binding upon PortableKayaks.com until accepted by PortableKayaks.com. Any quotations given by PortableKayaks.com will be valid for the period stated on the quotation. Customer agrees to pay interest on all past-due sums at the highest rate allowed by law. If we are shipping your order outside of the state of Indiana, it is not subject to sales tax. Indiana sales tax is 7.00%.
Warranties
THE LIMITED WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO ALL PRODUCTS ARE INCLUDED FROM THE MANUFACTURER OF THE PRODUCTS IN THE DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCTS. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES FOR SERVICES. PORTABLEKAYAKS.COM MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT THOSE STATED IN PORTABLEKAYAKS.COM'S APPLICABLE WARRANTY STATEMENT IN EFFECT ON THE DATE OF THE INVOICE. ANY SUCH WARRANTIES WILL BE EFFECTIVE, AND PORTABLEKAYAKS.COM WILL BE OBLIGATED TO HONOR ANY SUCH WARRANTIES, ONLY UPON PORTABLEKAYAKS.COM'S RECEIPT OF PAYMENT IN FULL FOR THE ITEM TO BE WARRANTED.
PortableKayaks.com acts as a retailer. Any warranty and technical support provided on third-party products purchased through PortableKayaks.com's are provided by the original manufacturer and not by PortableKayaks.com. These products may be returned only in accordance with the return policy in effect on the date of invoice. The warranties and technical support may vary from product to product. PortableKayaks.com continually upgrades and revises its products and service offerings to provide PortableKayaks.com customers with new products and service offerings. In the event that an ordered product is out of stock, Customer will be contacted prior to any substitutions.
Warranty Returns
Products returned for warranted repairs or replacement are done so under the jurisdiction of the manufacturers warranty policy and through the manufacturers warranty department.
Return & Refund Policy
Should you wish to return a product for a reason other than warranty or repair, PortableKayaks.com offers return policies in line with those of our distributors and manufacturers. To view the warranties and return policies of individual manufacturers and possible exceptions or additions to PortableKayaks.com’s guidelines, please click on the warranty page.
The following guidelines are in addition and inclusive of those of our product manufacturers:
- You must e-mail us at support@PortableKayaks.com to receive return instructions.
- Product returns must be shipped to the product manufacturer. (Not to PortableKayaks.com, unless directed to).
- Returned products should be in the condition they were received in, as well as in their original packaging.
- Pack the item(s) securely.
- Please remember to include all warranty cards and manuals.
- Please include a copy of your receipt and a brief note declaring the reason for the return.
- Send your package via UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post. (You are responsible for return product shipping charges.)
- Refunds will be issued to the credit card used to make the original purchase within 3 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected for damage by the manufacturer.
- The original cost of shipping the item to the customer will be subtracted from the refund.
- In some cases, a re-stocking fee may also be subtracted from the refund. For specific information regarding re-stocking fees, click on the warranty page.
Exchanges
From time to time, PortableKayaks.com may, in its sole discretion, exchange products or portions of a product. Any exchanges must be made within 14 days of purchase, and all original packaging and literature must accompany returned products and all products must be in “as new” condition. To assist our Christmas shoppers, any items purchased from November 20th until December 24th, can be exchanged in new condition with all original packaging until January 5th, or 13 days after purchase – whichever time period is longer. The PortableKayaks.com exchange policy may be pre-empted, altered or replaced by policies of the product manufacturer.
