Explore With The Puffin Kayak
Puffins are extremely light-weight recreational folding kayaks with excellent paddling performance. The 12 foot Puffin Kayak, the shortest decked Puffin, is stable enough to make almost anybody feel secure. The Puffin Kayak tracks well and is easy to paddle. Inexperienced paddlers find this kayak perfect for exploring, and more experienced ones often prefer it because it makes a stable platform for activities like wildlife viewing and photography. With the optional spray skirt in place, you are well protected from the elements. Puffins have been featured in Popular Science and Popular Mechanics magazines. The Puffin Kayak has a yellow deck with black trim. Hull shape is symmetrical, the bottom has a shallow vee shape, and the sides have some tumblehome. Unloaded shape is slightly rockered. More or less rocker is possible depending on load distribution. All models are delivered with seats, duffel bag, repair kit, pump, and instruction manual.
The Puffin Kayak is available in Blue (hull) color and 1 Green hull is also left. Red has sold out.
The Puffin Kayak includes a deck. Only available in yellow.
