Question: Will my brand new kayak gear come with a full manufacturers warranty?

Because PortableKayaks.com is an authorized dealer for all the products we sell, ALL products ordered come with a full manufacturer's warranty. For more information on warranties, check our warranties page


Question: How do I place an order?

You can place your order online with our secure online shopping cart. You can call us at 812-734-5485 during regular business hours (9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday) or you can email us and set up an alternative ordering method.


Question: What is the Shipping Time?

We ship your Products to you using UPS or FedEx Ground. Shipping time is generally 5-10 days. For more specific shipping details visit our Shipping & Retail Policy page. 


Question: What if an item is out of stock?

You can order with confidence that all the items that are marked as "In Stock" are in stock. However, in very rare instance there will be an item out of stock, even if it showed "In Stock" (this can happen for a number of reasons, we got in more orders then we have in stock, we have it, but it's defective, etc.) In such an instance, our customer service department will contact you, if you agree we will put it on order for you. These will be marked as "Back Ordered" on the Invoice and will be shipped as soon as we receive them from our suppliers.


Question: What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and Google Check Out as well as Money Orders and Personal & Business Checks. (Orders paid by Check will be held for 10 business days for clearing.)


Question: What is your privacy policy

We do not obtain personally identifying information about you during your use of the web site, unless you choose to provide it. If you do choose to add information about yourself to the site -- for example, purchasing an item -- we do not share your data with any third parties. We occasionally send out informational mailings. If you ever wish to opt out of these mailings, please let us know via e-mail. Check out our Privacy/Security page for more info.


Question: Is there Express Shipping?

We do offer Express Shipping for product Orders by special request. We know you would like to get your products quickly. Please contact us with details and pricing. 


Question: I’m looking for a particular item. I see that you have some of the manufacturer’s stuff. Why don’t you carry all of the products of a certain manufacturer?

Good Question! There are a variety of reasons why we may not carry all of a manufacturers products. In most cases, however, we should be able to special order an item for you. Just email us at support@PortableKayaks.com and let us know what you are looking for and we'll try to get it.
